Is there a charge to switch?
There is no fee to enroll in the plan however, your local telephone company charges a service order fee to reroute your long distance.  This commonly ranges from $7.00 to $10.00 and is a one-time fee.  

Is there a cost to have a toll free number?
No, there are no fees to have an 800 number.  You are only billed for the usage on the calls to the number.
